Transneft Baltic has summed up the implementation of its charity programme in 1H 2020.
In the year of the 75th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War, special attention was paid to veteran organisations assistance, to support the restoration of military memorials and burials. Thanks to the participation of Transneft Baltic, materials for restoring the burial in Shimsk Village in Novgorod Region, as well as for obelisks of Glory in Andreapol, Tver Region and in Leninsky Settlement of Smolensk Region were purchased. At the request of the Pskov Regional Organisation of the All-Russia Public Organisation of Veterans (Pensioners) of War, Labor, Armed Forces and Law Enforcement Agencies, funds were allocated for targeted assistance to veterans.
The administration of Krasnokholmsky District of Tver Region was assisted in the festive decoration of streets for the Victory Day and the gifts purchase for veterans. The Molokovsky District Culture House in Molokovo Settlement, Tver Region, received support for organising events dedicated to the 75th anniversary of the Victory.
In Leningrad Region, with the support of company, the first phase of work on replacing street lighting in Ust-Luga Settlement was completed. Outdated mercury-vapour lamps were replaced with modern LED devices, which can significantly increase the energy efficiency of the settlement lighting and increases the lamps’ service life.
Thanks to the help of Transneft Baltic, the nursery school was able to purchase new heating radiators in Vistino Village, Leningrad Region. In addition, the nursery school of Ust-Luga acquired furniture, an interactive table and household appliances. Also for the needs of Prokhorov Kingiseppsky Interdistrict Hospital (Leningrad Region), medical gloves were donated.
During the indicated period, repairs and equipping of three medical institutions in Novgorod Region were completed. In particular, an overhaul of two buildings of the Shimskaya Central District Hospital, including the repair of the roof, the territory landscaping, were carried out. In the Novgorod central district hospital, the roof of the outpatient department was overhauled, the corridor between the outpatient department and the hospital was repaired. Overhaul of the outpatient clinic premises of the Khvoyninskaya Central District Hospital was carried out.
A fire truck was donated to the Civil Defence, Emergencies and Fire Safety Directorate in Novgorod Region state company.
The allocation of funds for the purchase of materials for the construction of St. Tikhon Church in Yaroslavl continues.
