Transneft Baltic has provided charitable assistance to settlements of Kingiseppsky District in Leningrad Region.
In particular, the company allocated financing exceeding RUB 1.8 million to help replace street lighting in Ust-Luga Settlement. Outdated mercury-vapour lamps were replaced with modern LED devices, which can significantly increase the energy efficiency of the settlement lighting and increases the lamps’ service life.
Thanks to the help of Transneft Baltic, the Vistino Village nursery school was able to purchase new heating radiators. In addition, the nursery school of Ust-Luga Settlement acquired furniture, an interactive table and household appliances. With the help of the company, the Kingisepp Resource Centre purchased a frame pool and a trampoline to arrange recreation for children.
The BPS-2 oil trunk pipeline runs across Kingiseppsky District. The district also hosts the pipeline’s endpoint – the Ust-Luga oil depot, a branch of Transneft Baltic. From the oil depot, hydrocarbons are loaded onto the tankers of the Ust-Luga port.
