150 million tons of oil have been exported at Ust-Luga port from the moment of commissioning of the oil terminal

According to the results of 2017, export of REBCO oil from Ust-Luga port (Leningrad Region) was equal to 32.7 million tons, which is 2.6 million tons more than in 2016.

The cargo turnover of Ust-Luga Oil Depot has been increased more than twice from the moment of start of tankers shipping in March 2012. In 2012 the shipment amount was equal to 14.3 million tons.

In total from the moment of starting oil shipment at Ust-Luga the amount of export through the port was equal to 150 million tons.

The indices of oil transportation through oil trunk pipelines of Baltic Pipeline System - 2 (BPS-2) in 2017 were maximum from the beginning of oil shipment for export in the port.

Ust-Luga Commercial Sea Port is located in the South-East of the Luga Bay of the Gulf of Finland. Oil terminal of Ust-Luga Port is meant for shipping commercial oil delivered through BPS-2 oil trunk pipeline for export. Ust-Luga Oil Depot was commissioned on 23 March 2012 and it is the final point of BPS-2 oil pipeline. Ust-Luga Oil Depot is meant for receiving and storage of shiploads of commercial oil delivered by pipeline. The amount of the tank farm of Ust-Luga Oil Depot is equal to 420 thousand cubic metres.
