On 4 December 2020 at 05.50 (Moscow time), a change in in-line pressure of a section of the Yaroslavl – Primorsk-1 petroleum products trunk pipeline (PPTP) was recorded by Transneft Baltic’s automated system for monitoring of the oil pipeline operating parametres. During the inspection of the PPTP, the company’s employees detected a leak of diesel fuel from the criminal offshoot laid from the illegal tapping at the pipeline.

The pump house ensures oil transportation via the Palkino – Primorsk oil trunk pipeline; its main function is to create and maintain the required pressure in the pipeline.
